TPD Officer Cleared of Wrongdoing

(Toledo, OH) A Toledo police officer is cleared of any departmental wrongdoing after a recent deadly shooting.

Officer Jonathon Curtis is back at work following an investigation for shooting and killing Shane Marsh earlier this month.

Curtis was responding to a domestic dispute when he shot Marsh in the leg, hitting an artery and causing him to bleed to death.  The Lucas County Prosecutor's Office still has to review the case, but the police department has concluded their investigation and found that Curtis acted within departmental policies.

Marsh had two warrants out for his arrest at the time of his death.
