COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio's unemployment rate has ticked-up again.
New numbers are just out from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. They indicate a slight uptick in joblessness in Ohio for August. The August rate is 5.4%, up two tents of a percent from July. The state's numbers also indicate 11-thousand more people were unemployed in Ohio in August from July. Right now, Ohio's unemployment rate is one percent higher than the national average.
