(Toledo, OH) The Toledo plan commission is cracking down on used car lots.
The plan commission could revoke the special-use permits of three used car sales operations at its meeting later today for failing to follow Toledo's zoning and planning code.
Excellerate Auto Sales on Whiteford-Center Road, ACE Auto House on Sylvania Avenue, and First Choice Auto Finance on Woodville Road in East Toledo are all being targeted for shut-down after inspections by city plan commission staff over the summer.
Most of those special-use permits came under review after complaints about parking, traffic, and other municipal code violations. Each used-car lot owner has a chance to plead his case before the plan commission decides.
