(Toledo, OH) A Franklin Park Mall teen curfew is being expanded to its movie theaters.
The mall first established a weekend curfew in 2015, requiring teens under the age of 18 to be accompanied by an adult after 4 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The move came after an incident where a large group of youth had gathered and police tried to intervene after a fight occurred.
Now flyers are circulating at the mall, telling patrons the same curfew now applies at its 16-screen Rave Motion Picture theater starting Friday.
Some teens don't like the policy change, seeing it as age discrimination and voicing their displeasure on the theater's Facebook page.
