The new Menards warehouse and distribution center in Holiday City is battling low unemployment in Northwest Ohio, so it’s trying to recruit workers in Toledo—even offering transportation from downtown for potential employees.
Renhill Staffing is trying to recruit 70 workers right away for day shift jobs at $12 per hou and afternoon shift positions at $12.50 per hour.
Menards is even offering two extra bucks per hour for weekend workers. There’s a recruiting event from 8 a.m. to noon at Ohio Means Jobs-Lucas County in downtown Toledo.
