(Toledo, OH) U-Haul's proposed storage facility in Toledo's Warehouse District is getting a warm reception.
Warehouse District advocates met with the moving and storage company Wednesday about the plan for the Willis Day building on Washington Street and came away confident that it won't ruin the growing residential and entertainment district.
U-Haul agreed to keep lighting at low levels and allow only cargo vans to travel in and out. The storage facility would cater to apartment dwellers nearby.
ProMedica had recently shown interest in the same building for an expanded business incubator, but abandoned those plans when the cost of renovations proved too much.
