(Toledo, OH) The I-75 commute into downtown Toledo gets a little slower starting today.
The long-awaited replacement of the Indiana Avenue bridge over I-75 begins today, which means only one lane of traffic will be allowed to exit I-75 southbound for the next two years.
Only one lane of traffic will be able to dump onto Washington Street for the same period. The five-million dollar bridge replacement will put an end to a bumpy commute on a span pocked with potholes.
The bridge replacement project is expected to last until June of 2019.
