(Toledo, OH) Hundreds of people will show their Toledo Pride starting tonight.
The Toledo Pride festival is an annual observance by the Glass City's LGBTQ community held downtown.
A kickoff party tonight is being dubbed "You'll Do Better in DRAG," a take-off of the Glass City's official marketing slogan. The party runs 6 p.m. to midnight and attendees are being asked to bring donations of food, socks, gloves or hygeine products to help the less fortunate.
There's a 0.5-K Nite Glow Fun Run tonight at dusk, which runs from Toledo's Love Wall to Levis Square, where participants are encouraged to wear neon, tie dye, rainbow, and tutus. There's a noontime parade through downtown Toledo Saturday, followed by local bands and drag queens through midnight at Levis Square.
