(Toledo, OH) An iconic Toledo eatery will test-drive its first-ever drive through today.
Tony Packo's was left to build two new eateries when The Andersons closed its retail stores in Maumee and West Toledo, leaving the restaurant chain down two in-store locations. But the family-owned chain also saw an opportunity during construction of its Secor Road and Conant Street restaurants-- the chance to add drive-throughs to those new locations.
Invited guests will help give the Secor Road drive-though a dinnertime test run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. today, with the restaurant set to open by Monday.
The Maumee restaurant is expected to open by October.
