(Toledo, OH) This week means back-to-school across Northwest Ohio
Perrysburg schools will be the first in Northwest Ohio to start classes, but there's a lot of reason to do so. First involves the opening of the new 29-million dollar Hull Prairie Intermediate School for fifth and sixth-graders, built to house a growing numbe rof students, as well as help them transition from elementary to middle school. There's a new roundabout that was just completed nearby, so parents and school bus drivers will have to learn to navigate the new traffic pattern as they take kids to school.
Maumee and Sylvania schools have a staggered start beginning Wednesday, with elementary students and high school freshman transitioning first with everyone else starting classes Thursday.
Toledo Public Schools also resumes classes Thursday.
