(Toledo, OH) The first ProMedica employees will move into the company's new downtown Toledo headquarters today.
The first 150 ProMedica employees will set up shop in the Junction Building, which had been home to KeyBank until the healthcare system bought the property.
Hundreds more Promedica administrative staff will join them every Friday in August, moving into offices in the same building and the former Edison steam plant. About 500 employees from sister insurance company Paramount Health Carewill move into the former Toledo Edison building, also now owned by ProMedica.
The health provider says nearly 1,000 workers will be on the job at the Junction and old steam plant in time for a ribbon-cutting August 31st. But ProMedica is already looking for more downtown office space, with other workers scattered at One Seagate and the new Renaissance Hotel.
