(Toledo, OH) A top Lucas County official is off the job as her husband faces child-sex crime charges.
Lucas County Administrator Laura Lloyd-Jenkins was placed on indefinite paid leave this week after completing an unpaid suspension for failure of good behavior in her duties.
Lloyd-Jenkins is married to Toledo pastor Cordell Jenkins, who is accused of paying a 17-year-old girl for sex and faces federal sex trafficking charges. Authorities say she resigned her board position with Lucas County Children's Services after lying about her knowledge of the crimes.
