(Toledo, OH) A former Toledo cop is scheduled to go on trial today.
44-year old former Toledo police officer Michael Moore, Senior, is accused of paying a teenage girl for sex on at least two occasions.
The 14-year police veteran faces counts of unlawful sexual conduct and compelling prostitution.
Moore took himself off the TPD payroll last November after the allegations surfaced. He rejected a plea deal that would have sent him to prison for eight years, but if he loses at trial, he could get up to 16 years in prison and be labeled a sex offender for the next quarter-century.
