COLUMBUS, Ohio - People from all over Ohio are in Columbus today as the State Fair officially opens.
Doors are open for the 2017 Ohio State Fair. More than a thousand people were there for the opening ceremony, keynoted by Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor.
"What a great tradition for so many of Ohio's families," Taylor said before cutting the ribbon on the 167th edition of the Fair.
Gates are open 9 am to 10 pm everyday through August 6.
