Locally, today is veteran’s day at the Lenawee County fair in Michigan. All retired and active-duty military get into the fair for two bucks. The day’s events feature 4-H horse and pony shows, a beef show, and open-class dairy. A figure-8 car and truck demo is the evening’s featured entertainment.

The Seneca County Fair in Tiffin features plenty of 4-H showmanship today, with cattle, horse, and rabbit judging on tap. There’s a cow chip contest and sheep showmanship on the afternoon agenda, while the evening’s entertainment features horse pulls. This is the 175th anniversary of the Seneca County fair.
