Man Saved From Drowning By Prosthetic Leg

(Chippewa Township, OH)  --  An Ohio fisherman says he was saved from drowning by his prosthetic leg.

Adam Shannon tells WOIO-TV he was fishing on Dohner Lake in Chippewa County on Monday night when he fell out of his boat, knocking the leg off in the process.  Shannon says he was able to grab ahold of the prosthetic and use it as a flotation device.

He was eventually rescued after someone on shore heard his cries for help.
