TOLEDO, Ohio - The parents of a toddler that was accidentally shot and killed were sentenced Tuesday.
WTOL 11 reports Turhan and Kayla Johnson were sentenced to two years of probation and will perform 100 hours of community service each. Turhan will also be on electronic monitoring for sixty days.
The Johnson's daughter was killed by a gun that was left out in their home. The couple had faced charges of child endangerment, negligent homicide, obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence.
