Ohio Governor Signs "Judy's Law"

(Columbus, OH)  A law named for a New Albany mother who died after being set on fire by an ex-boyfriend will soon take effect in Ohio.  

Governor John Kasich signed "Judy's Law" Monday.  The law adds prison time for offenders who use accelerants to disfigure their victims.  

The new law is named for Judy Malinowski, who passed away last month after two years in the hospital after he boyfriend doused her in gasoline and lit her on fire.
