Clean-up Continues from Findlay Flood

(Findlay, OH) Clean up efforts are well underway in Findlay from the weekend's floodwaters.

More than 50 homes and a dozen businesses were impacted by the Blanchard River spilling its banks. Now it's time to clean up the massive mess now that those floodwaters have receded.

The American Red Cross is offering free clean-up kits, while those who need some volunteer manpower to help with clean-up can call 211.

Findlay city leaders are holding a community-wide clean-up Tuesday, which means residents and business owners can place flood-damaged items by the curb for pick-up by 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The Hancock Area Transit Service, or HATS, will be offering free bus rides today, Tuesday, and Wednesday because of the flood.
