NEWARK, Ohio - Rebate check for Ohio employers are being sent out from the Bureau of Workers Compensation.
The state wants to send money back through a relatively new "billion dollars back" rebate program. Ohio Bureau of Workers' Comp director Sarah Morrison explains who should be getting some money back.
"All employers in the state insurance fund so if its a self-insured employer, they are not eligible but if you are an employer in our state insurance fund, you are eligible for the rebate," Morrison says.
She says the state looks at whether an employer's worker's comp policy is current and with no lapses.
