Wife Of Pastor Accused Of Sex Crimes Resigns From LCCS

TOLEDO, Ohio - The wife of a Toledo pastor accused of sex crimes against children has resigned her position on the board of Lucas County Children's Services.

WTOL 11 reports Laura Lloyd-Jenkins submitted her resignation Friday. Leaders at the LCCS say she had lied about her knowledge of her husband's alleged crimes. According to her father, Lloyd-Jenkins called and texted him after she found racy exchanges with the girl on her husband's phone.

Her husband, Cordell Jenkins, is accused of paying to have sex with a 17-year-old girl.

Lloyd-Jenkins is still currently the Lucas County Administrator.
