Hackers Take Over Ohio Government Websites

(Columbus, OH) An investigation is underway into a cyberattack on several Ohio government websites.

State officials say eight sites were hit with pro-ISIS messages Sunday, including those for the governor's office, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Casino Control Board. Those websites were shut down for several hours Sunday.

Internet security experts say the group behind the hack didn't appear to be fishing for data, but wanted to spread propaganda.
