(Bowling Green, OH) One man is hospitalized after a golf outing nearly turned tragic in Bowling Green.
Police say the man was playing at the Bowling Green Country Club Thursday when he parked his cart under a tree to take cover from thunderstorms. That's when a large branch broke and crashed on the cart, pinning the victim inside.
A second man in the golf cart was not hurt.
There are scattered power outages east of Toledo from last night's storms. Toledo Edison says crews will have electric service restored to hundreds of customers in Lake Township and elsewhere by two this afternoon.
