New Woodmore School Supt. Unlicensed in Ohio

(Elmore, OH) Woodmore schools may have a big problem ahead-- the new superintendent is unlicensed.

Robert Yenrick is set to become the new Woodmore schools superintendent on July first, but he let his superintendent's license lapse with the state two years ago. Yenrick did reapply, but his license is still in limbo, under review for two years.

The school board only found out when members asked Yenrick about it. The former Phoenix Academy, Bowling Green, and Toledo Public Schools assistant principal still has a valid license to teach special needs students through the end of next year.

State education officials and the district's lawyer say Yenrick can still operate as superintendent while his license renewal is under review.
