(Sylvania, OH) Students in the Sylvania schools will stay where they are when classes start in the fall.
The school board approved last night a hybrid redistricting plan that creates school feeder patterns and new boundary lines. Students will also have the option to stay at the same school from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Sylvania school officials say the plan was crafted after months of talking to parents in an effort to balance rising enrollment. It'll take effect in 2018.
