(Fremont, OH) An arrest in a cold-case murder is leading authorities to reopen a second Sandusky County case.
The Sandusky County sheriff is taking another look at the 2009 death of Leigh Ann Sluder, following the arrest of Daniel Myers in the 2015 murder of Heather Bogle. Myer and Sluder had a son together.
Her death was originally listed as a suicide. She died from a gun shot wound through the chest and out her back, while a rifle was located next to her body on a bed in her Emerald Estates mobile home.
But there's a big connection between the cases-- Myers, Bogle and Sluder all worked at a Whirlpool plant together in Clyde.
