(Toledo, OH) Drivers who travel Monroe Street in Toledo will have to find a detour for the next three months.
Ohio Department of Transportation officials say the heavily traveled bridge over I-475 will close today for construction. More than 18,000 vehicles cross the bridge every day.
The bridge deck is being replaced, work that is supposed to last through August. Even then, only one lane will be open each direction until the end of September.
Secor Road and Central Avenue are the alternate routes.
