(Toledo, OH) A Toledo woman's online obituary is going viral-- because her mom details her addiction-related death.
24-year old Christina Westfall will be laid to rest Friday, after her mother describes a decade-long battle with heroin and crack-cocaine addiction that started with opioids.
Her mom writes that she wanted to share her daughter's story "in the hope that lives may be saved and her death will not be in vain." Westfall's obituary has been viewed more than 80-thousand times and shared widely on Facebook, a woman described by her mom as feisty, in-your-face, drop-dead gorgeous and outspoken-- who also left behind a young daughter.
There will be a balloon release at her funeral Friday night in Temperance, Michigan.
