(Toledo, OH) The construction season is about to get busy along Secor Road.
The Toledo Plan Commission is being asked to approve the site plans for three major developments in that corridor near I-475.
First, a developer plans to construct a pair of five-story Marriott hotels on the site of the former Ramada Inn, right next to the Secor Village shopping center. A Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott will offer 228 hotel rooms combined.
The plan commission also is being asked to approve the site plan of a controversial Kroger Marketplace store on 18 acres of land formerly owned by the Sisters of Notre Dame. Most of the traffic for that proposed grocery superstore would access the site from Monroe Street.
