COLUMBUS, Ohio - The roads around Ohio will be crowded this Memorial Day holiday.
About nine in ten people traveling for the Memorial Day holiday will do so by car. Triple A's Kimberly Schwind says an improving economy is one of the reasons.
"Household net worth is up and unemployment is down so consumers are more confident in the economy, they have more money and they're allocating that money for things like travel," Schwind says.
According to Hertz, the busiest day to get a rental car will be Friday. Also, ODOT points out there will be construction projects to watch out for this holiday weekend.
