(Oregon, OH) There’s a public meeting tonight to discuss the possibility of forming a downtown area in Oregon.
Oregon city leaders are looking into the possibility of using zoning changes to create a downtown area along Wheeling Street for a mix of retail, restaurants, apartments, and condos.
The plan commission is offering assistance on a new overlay district that might resemble an outdoor mall similar to Levis Commons or the Mall at Fallen Timbers. That meeting starts at 8 p.m. at the Oregon Municipal Complex.
