Chelsea Bruck Murder Case Goes to Trial

(Monroe, MI) Jury selection begins today in the trial of a Michigan man accused of killing a young woman after a Halloween party and hiding her body.

The trial of Daniel Clay is expected to take two weeks or more, with a jury pool of 200 people because of the high-profile nature of the 2014 Chelsea Bruck murder case.

Her body was found in a shallow grave six months after her disappearance-- and dozens of searches involving hundreds of people. Clay has maintained her murder was an accident.
