(Undated) Northwest Ohio is already waterlogged, but some counties could see some serious flooding.
The National Weather Service is warning eight Northwest Ohio counties there could be two to three inches of rain over the next couple of days-- but the ground already is saturated and farmfields covered in standing water in some low-lying areas.
There's a particular concern along the Blanchard River, which crested earlier this week. A flood watch is now posted for Allen, Defiance, Henry, Fulton, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Williams counties through Friday night. More rain is the last thing farmers need, as they scramble to get their fields plowed and crops planted.
