OVI Task Force To Conduct Sobriety Checkpoints In Bowling Green, Jerusalem Township

TOLEDO, Ohio - Police will be out in force tonight and looking for drunk drivers.

The Lucas County OVI Task Force will conduct four sobriety checkpoints in Jerusalem Township. The checkpoints will be located at 331 N. Curtice Rd., 20 S. Yondota Rd., 56 N. Howard Rd., and 9501 Jerusalem Rd. 

These checkpoints will be operated between 8:00 pm and 1:00 am. 

The Ohio Highway Patrol will also conduct a sobriety checkpoint Saturday in Bowling Green. Officers will operate the checkpoint between 10 pm and 1 am in the 700 block of Wooster St. 

Both checkpoints are being paid for through the OVI Task Force Grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
