UPDATE: Cleveland Manhunt Underway For Facebook Live Killer

Updated 5:30pm

Cleveland Police are conducting an intense local manhunt for Steve Stephens, a suspect who admitted to committing multiple murders during a Facebook Live broadcast.  Stephens is believed to still be in Cleveland; however, authorities have been alerted to his description across the region.

Stephens has been described as 6'1", 244 pounds, bald with a full beard, last seen wearing a striped polo shirt, and seen driving a white or cream colored SUV.  He is believed to be armed and dangerous.

UPDATE: Suspect vehicle now believed to be a white Ford Fusion with temporary tags.

Cleveland Police have not confirmed the multiple murders Stephens claims to have committed; however, one of those murders was apparently broadcast by Stephens on Facebook Live.  The murder happened on East 93rd in Cleveland. Police said the shooter broadcasted the deadly shooting live on his social media page and claimed to have committed other homicides. Police are still investigating those claims.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, do not approach. Call 911 immediately.

The Cleveland Division of the FBI said it is assisting in the investigation.

A Cleveland State University spokesman said the campus has issued a shelter in place or to stay away.

NewsRadio WSPD has chosen not to share the extremely graphic video broadcast by the suspected killer.
