PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Perrysburg Township Police have announced a large marijuana bust that uncovered a large trafficking operation.
WTOL 11 reports a search warrant was executed at 27751 Simmons Road where Perrysburg Township Police and the Sandusky County Drug Task Force discovered the operation. Officers seized more than 40 pounds of marijuana, a five gallon bucket of hash and nearly 150 marijuana plants. The marijuana alone is valued at around $200,000.
The two occupants of the home were taken into custody. Police say the investigation is ongoing and will be referred to a Wood County Grand Jury after more evidence is collected.
