(Holland, OH) A former Springfield High School teacher is awaiting sentencing for having sex with a student.
28-year old Kyle McKinch pleaded guilty Thursday to sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct.
McKinch admitted to having relations with a 15-year-old student last year when he taught math at Springfield High School.
His contract was not renewed and he moved on to Central Catholic high school, where he was suspended from his job when he was charged and then fired after the guilty plea.
