(Dover, DE) The remains of famed astronaut John Glenn will be escorted through Maryland today.
The military escort is expected to travel from Dover Air Force Base to Glenn's final resting spot at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. His remains will be interred in a ceremony starting at 9:20 this morning, Eastern time.
Glenn died in December at the age of 95. The governor has ordered all U.S. and Ohio flags in public areas statewide to be flown at half-staff today.
