TOLEDO, Ohio - Former Toledo City Councilwoman Theresa Gabriel was sworn in Wednesday as deputy director of the Lucas County Board of Elections.
WTOL 11 reports Gabriel resigned Tuesday from her seat on council. Gabriel replaces Democrat Lavera Scott, as she moves into the director position. Scott replaces Republican Gina Kaczala.
