(Toledo, OH) Toledo's mayor wants you to do a little spring cleaning. Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson will roll out a schedule of six neighborhood cleanups already set for this spring and summer across Toledo.
The first one is already underway this week along North Detroit between Bancroft and Dorr. The department of neighborhoods is partnering with the city's trash hauler, health department, and other groups to help people get rid of bulky or unwanted items.
There's even a schedule of weekly refuse and recycling drop-offs scheduled. The first one is at the Toledo Zoo main parking lot April 22nd, where clothes and electronics and tires will be accepted, along with free document shredding.
