Former AW Student's Killer in Court Today

(Columbus, OH) The man accused of kidnapping and killing a former Anthony Wayne student-athlete in Columbus is scheduled to face a judge today.

Brian Golsby is charged with murder, kidnapping, rape and robbery in the death of 21-year old Reagan Tokes, who was set to graduate from Ohio State University next month.  He's also charged in six robberies in German Village and south Columbus.

Prosecutors will try to put Golsby on death row, just months after he was released from prison.

The family of Reagan Tokes is calling for reforms after the arrest of her suspected killer. They say the system that allowed Brian Golsby to attack six other women before he kidnapped, raped and killed the Ohio State student is, quote, "broken."

Franklin County prosecutors say Golsby was on GPS monitoring after his release from prison in November, but state prison officials don't have the resources for real-time monitoring.
