(Toledo, OH) A new Toledo-based organization is up and running with the goal of launching high-tech businesses.
NextTech is a partnership of ProMedica, Mercy Health, the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. The collaborative received an $8.7 million state grant Thursday to invest in startup businesses.
NextTech would fund, mentor and promote the early stage medical device companies. Organizers are hoping their efforts create more high-paying jobs in Northwest Ohio.
