(Toledo, OH) Plans are in the works to overhaul a heavily traveled Toledo street.
Toledo city officials unveiled Wednesday the design of a rebuilt South Detroit Avenue. The road would be widened to three lanes, with bike lanes from the Anthony Wayne Trail to Copland Boulevard.
The $3 million project would also include a roundabout at Detroit, Devonshire and Byrne roads. Construction would begin in 2019 with 90 percent of the project paid with state and federal grants.
