Lagrange Street Polish Festival May Be Revived

(Toledo, OH) Toledo may not go without a celebration of Polish heritage this year.

The Polish American Community of Toledo will decide today whether to hold its own festival, just one day after the Lagrange Street Polish Festival was canceled.

Organizers of the long-running Lagrange Street event say road construction and staffing problems are forcing them to shut down the event. One Village officials vow to be back on the summer fair and festival calendar in 2018, but many fear once the 32-year run ends, the festival won't ever return.
