TOLEDO, Ohio - An electrical malfunction Thursday morning caused a water pressure drop across the City of Toledo.
The malfunction at Collins Park Water Treatment Plant resulted in uneven water pressure through the system. The City says the malfunction has been fixed, normal pressure has been restored and that the water is safe.
In a statement, the City says that the protocols of the Ohio EPA are being strictly followed. Pressure is being checked throughout the system to make sure full service as been restored system-wide.
