(Toledo, OH) A Toledo city councilman will lead a crash course tonight in city government.
Republican councilman Tom Waniewski says the session is open to anyone who's interested in serving on Toledo city council someday-- and includes the duties and requirements, as well as specifics about Toledo's half-billion-dollar budget.
The presentation starts at 6 p.m. at the Sanger branch library. Two first-time Democratic candidates in the past week have announced they'll seek city council seats after getting the party endorsement.
