(Toledo, OH) The long-debated plan to relocate a Toledo Kroger store is closer to reality.
Toledo City Council approved a plan last night to rezone the Sisters of Notre Dame property on Secor Road to allow construction of a Kroger Marketplace location. The passage followed a revised plan that included more trees and green space than a proposal that was shot down in 2015.
Kroger officials can't say yet when construction will begin on the new store that would replace an existing supermarket on Monroe Street.
