Ottawa Hills Council Votes Down Secor Widening Plan

OTTAWA HILLS, Ohio - The Ottawa Hills Village Council says no to widening Secor Road.

WTOL 11 reports the Council voted down the proposal Monday night to add lanes to Secor Road in a joint project with the City of Toledo. The project would have also demolished 12 houses. The council voted four to two.

Village Councilman Jeff Gibbs voted against the measure, saying that 75% of his constituents were against the plan.
