(Toledo, OH) Downtown Toledo will be packed today with people celebrating the city's Irish heritage. A host of events are scheduled throughout the day, including special meals and live music.
One of those events is the Shamrockin' the Blarney, a tent party that has part of Huron Street blocked off for the weekend. Of course, alcohol will be served from early this morning until late tonight, so police are urging people to have rides lined up if they're drinking. Authorities in Lucas and Wood counties will have sobriety checkpoints operating Friday night.
