(Columbus, OH) A Fulton County family's campaign to protect the public from repeat violent offenders continues.
Sierah Joughin's mother and other loved ones testified Tuesday before the Ohio Senate on a bill that would create a violent offender registry. The measure is in response to Joughin's death last year allegedly at the hands of a convicted kidnapper.
Supporters are hoping to have the registry established by the end of this year. The bill is being sponsored by two Republican state senators from Northwest Ohio.
